A Site Procurement Manager is needed for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Zebulon, NC area. The Senior Procurement Manager will lead and manage procurement activities driving strategic procurement initiatives, optimizing costs, and ensuring supply chain excellence while leading a team and collaborating across business functions.

salary: $51.27 – 71.26 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

Develop and propose long- and short-term plans to enhance Procurement processes and overall site performance.

Act as the key interface between Procurement and the site, balancing expectations of both Procurement and Site stakeholders.

Ensure site needs are considered in the development and implementation of global category strategies.

Develop and manage the sites supply base to meet requirements, including supply assurance, quality, regulatory compliance, service, cost, and innovation.

Select, train, supervise, develop, and evaluate the local procurement team.

Lead and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence and best practices.

Promote empowerment and ownership of processes within the team.

Education and Experience:

Preferred degree in Business or Science.

5-8 years of operational Procurement/Supply Chain experience across multiple categories of spend.

Experience in regulated environments is a plus.
