General Laborer – Hanger Assembly 1st Shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Pick materials needed to complete each project

Read and interpret blueprints/sketches to measure and cut rod accordingly

Assemble pipe hangers efficiently and accurately

Bag, bundle, and band materials as directed

Input information into computer

Interpret information already in computer

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or GED is required.

Technical or trade school training is a plus.

Experience working in a fabrication shop or factory setting is a plus.

Basic computer skills are required.

Ability to think strategically, make sound decisions, and produce accurate and timely results is required.

Able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
