Clinical Assistant (MA/CNA/Surgical Tech) New Bern

As a Clinical Assistant you will assist a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner in providing comprehensive patient care within clinical and surgical settings with a professional attitude of compassion and respect for patient dignity.

Duties/Responsibilities

– Document patient complaints and medical history in EMA.
– Prepare patient for exams, procedures, and surgery.
– Provide patient education and instruction.
– Assist physicians with surgical procedures/MOHS surgeries.
– Responsible for stocking and cleanliness of various specialty areas, exam rooms, provider stations, and medical supply areas.
– Assist with instrument sterilization and autoclave routine maintenance.
– Participate in training of other clinic staff as needed.

General Requirements

– Surgical Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant experience
– Knowledge of and compliance with HIPPA standards
– Thrives in a fast-paced environment
– Able to communicate clearly and concisely

Physical Requirements

– Requires prolonged standing and walking
– Requires bending, stooping, stretching, and lifting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
