We are seeking an entry-level IT Specialist who can use his or her technological skills to help increase efficiency and productivity in our IT team. We are looking for someone with a general understanding of computers and mobile devices. What you’ll do:
In this role, you will primarily focus on deploying equipment (Laptops, iPhones, iPads, etc.) for new and existing employees. You will also get hands-on helpdesk experience supporting our home office staff, employees at job sites, and remote users around the country. From day one you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.
Customer service is our top priority. Our job in IT is to empower all employees to perform their jobs at the highest level possible, all the way from the fab shop to the CEO’s office. Good customer service includes great teamwork, effective communication, and strong determination to solve problems.
This role will primarily be responsible for ensuring users (new and existing) receive equipment that is set up to ensure they can perform their job functions to the best of their abilities.
We fully support B&K from an IT standpoint. Other responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): Level 1 Helpdesk Support, Asset Inventory and Management, research and documentation, etc.
What you’ll need (minimum qualifications):
Experience using Windows 11, including installing/uninstalling programs
Experience with iOS/iPadOS, including installing/uninstalling apps
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of Active Directory is a plus
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Prior customer service experience
Nice to have:
CompTIA A Certification
Prior level 1 helpdesk experience
