A Purchasing Specialist is needed in Norcross, Georgia.

Job Duties:

Coordinate purchasing and supply chain activities for providing custodial and janitorial industrial maintenance services. Prepare purchasing orders and analyze bidding requirements for purchasing of necessary materials. Research and evaluate suppliers considering factors such as price, quality, service, availability, reliability and other track records. Maintain accuracy of purchasing documents and maintain regular follow up with all suppliers and customers. Analyze purchasing materials requirements to maintain records of purchased items, costs, product performance. Confer with different departments to discuss defects of purchased materials, goods, or services and prepare corrective action. Evaluate purchasing and supply chain process and determine the most effective procurement process to maintain certain levels of inventory for manufacturing process. Compile purchasing records, and inventory levels to assist in development of strategic purchasing programs for overall business operations. Keep track of market conditions and any changes affecting supply and demand levels to ensure seamless purchasing activities.
