The Supervisor, Group Sales is the primary World of Coca-Cola team member responsible for actively prospecting, securing group visits and coordinating the daily operations of group sales initiatives. The role includes responsibilities for creating and implementing the Business Development Strategy and serving as the key contact for new sales accounts.
Key duties of this role include producing sustained group attendance that meets established annual revenue and attendance goals. This role performs a range of duties and requirements including:
Outbound sales and client management – recruit new clients and follow up on sales leads
Sales and marketing to group audiences, including education, corporate, social, association/convention and hotel markets
Format and produce status reports and generate sales data
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for capturing admission volume from broad markets as well as niche groups, education, corporate, social, association/convention and hotel markets.
Develop and implement proactive Business Development Plan to encourage group visitation.
Create and implement proactive marketing messaging for groups.
Provide training for Ambassadors and Reservationist in partnership with the operations team to ensure staff provides efficient and courteous group interactions.
Research technical and external trends and best practices to facilitate improved group sales processes.
Partner with sales counterparts at Atlanta attractions to drive Atlanta visitation and group attendance growth.
Update Teacher Toolkit online lesson plan offerings in alignment with The Coca-Cola Companys Responsible Marketing Policy in partnership with Education Specialist Agency as needed.
In partnership with Reservationist, coordinate and process all phases of reservations, book orders, follow-up for updates and payments for ticket sales.
Maintain confidentiality and practice PCI compliant Company procedures when handling payment and personally identifiable information.
Represent World of Coca-Cola at trade shows, conferences, and other functions to promote sales. Required attendance at conferences including possible overnight travel.
Participate in the planning and execution of employee dedication days, team building events and activations in partnership with cross-functional teammates.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Required Skills:
3 years of outbound sales experience (travel industry sales experience preferred)
Gateway Ticketing System experience preferred
Bachelors Degree preferred
Ability to travel overnight and come into Atlanta office. Expect hybrid work environment, with minimum of 3 days in the office and/or business travel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team while consistently striving toward high performance standards
Ability to handle change or reprioritization of work initiatives
Perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and detail while exhibiting impeccable guest/customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to self-manage
Willingness to collaborate cross-functionally with teams from all levels of the organization
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills: positive non-verbal cues, active listening, flexibility, dependability, and high degree of patience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
$71,300 – $84,000
