Knowledge of Title l and school related activities. Knowledge of programs and agencies providing services to children. Good organizational skills. Good oral and written communication. Ability to relate to a cross-section of people on a professional and personal basis. Thorough knowledge of the geographic area. Ability to work irregular hours when necessary. Ability to work with community agencies. Ability to be flexible. Must be compassionate. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to deal effectively and courteously with children, parents and the public.

JOB GOAL
To provide information to families aboutthe Title I programs and parenting activities.
PERFORMANCE RESPONISIBILITIES:
Service Delivery
Organize develop, coordinate and conduct Title I parent involvement and parent training
activities:
Provide
assistance and/or conduct training activities for parents emphasizing behavior
management, academic skills and family literacy activities.
Assist i the provision of awareness activities designed to promote Title I school and parenting activities.
Plan schedule for presentations, workshops and
fairs
Provideparent input for project
applications.
Serve as a parent
advocate.
Inter/ Intra-agency Communication and Delivery
Answer
the
telephone
in
a
courteous
and
professional
manner.
Serve as liaison between families and school
personnel.
Attend appropriate local and state
meetings.
Collaborate with outside agencies to obtain necessary services for families of Title I []{style=”letter-spacing
