Chief Financial Officer – Miami, FL

In this role, you would be working 5 days a week on site!

(MUST HAVE NON-PROFIT EXPERIENCE)

Job Responsibilities Include:

Strategic Financial Leadership: Partner with executives to develop and measure financial progress on strategic plans, advise on financial planning, budgeting, and investment priorities, and serve as a liaison to the board and finance committees.

Team and Relationship Management: Lead a team of finance professionals, build external relationships with key partners, and represent the organization in financial matters.

Operational Oversight: Oversee financial reporting, planning, and analysis, develop financial models, and ensure timely availability of reports for leaders and external agencies.

Executive Collaboration: Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic goals, analyze contracts, and manage IT and telecommunications contracts.

Staff Development: Establish performance goals, conduct appraisals, and mentor staff to align with the organization’s vision and mission.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting related discipline required

10 years of financial analysis experience

Previous in-house financial management experience

Familiar with non-profit finance and accounting regulations (MUST HAVE NON-PROFIT EXPERIENCE)

Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change/development within a growing organization

Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker

Ability to work independently in a fast-past environment
