Responsibilities

Key Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications:

strong knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, function, repair, and maintenance.

Proficiency in operating a variety of metalworking machines.

Ability to perform preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Experience in designing basic tools, jigs, fixtures, and punch dies. Ability to create drawings of repaired machine components for engineering teams to review and interpret.

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Specific Skills:

strong mechanical aptitude with excellent manual dexterity.

Good reading comprehension to effectively understand technical manuals, and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Physically capable of climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing tasks that require standing, bending, crouching, and climbing multiple times throughout the day.
