The Associate Employer Installation Specialist works with internal Optum business partners to implement and manage how OptumRx will support Prior Authorization elections for clients.
Acts as a dedicated specialist, executing all procedures and processes necessary to support our business partners as it relates to Prior Authorization (PA) elections for our clients. The PAS Install specialist is responsible for partnering with our internal Prior Authorization, Implementation, and Account Management partners to implement new clients as well as manage all existing clients and complex renewals. They gather requirements, interpret customer requirements and expectations, understand service level agreements, performance guarantees, and document client expectations for the clients they support. They provide steady state management as well as contribute to issue resolution requests and process improvement activities.
This position is full-time. Employees are required to work during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities
Assist with setting up plan structure and billing, eligibility collection and database loading
Prepare materials such as plan documents and provider education aids
Accurately load contract amendments
Audit contract loads for adherence to quality measurers and reporting standards
Escalate more complex problems to supervisor level
Recommend methods to improve processes used by department

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
Must be 18 years of age OR older
1 years of Account Management or Customer Service experience
1 years of experience with pharmacy benefits, PBM, operations (comprehensive understanding prior authorizations)
Working knowledge of standard business applications, Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm CST, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime, based on the business need
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in RxClaim, PAS, RxCOMET, ServiceNow, Workfront
Prior authorization knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization skills
Telecommuting Requirements:
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
