Description:

Univar is a contractor onsite at Mercedes in Vance, AL. Univar specializes in environmental recycling. In other words, they collect the recycled trash/materials from the different departments within the facility. These materials can range from plastic, cardboard, aluminum, foam, etc. Workers within the facility recycle the parts into bins or cans and it is the Material Handlers responsibility to pick up each bin and move them to prepare for shipment out of the facility. Being responsible for moving all trash from the site, it is expected to be willing and able to get off of the forklift or tugger to pick up trash or sweep. If there is downtime, there is always something to do. This candidate must be self motivated to find the next task.
