OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
The Nurse Recruiter will play a crucial role in the recruitment of Medical Support Specialists for a specific region of BioLife plasma centers. The Nurse Recruiter will be responsible for driving all aspects of the recruitment process, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates to fill key roles within our US-based plasma centers.
This individual will collaborate with operations and Talent Acquisition (TA) leaders to develop and execute a comprehensive nursing and EMT recruitment plan. As a Nurse Strategist, this individual will leverage their expertise in nurse recruitment practices and industry trends to design and manage recruitment initiatives that align with the staffing needs of the organization. Responsibilities include partnering with the TA Lead to identify Medical Support Specialist (MSS) roles for recruitment, creating and implementing recruitment plans, advertising and marketing positions, developing screening and interview guides, crafting messaging for TA team communication with MSS candidates, continuously evaluating and improving recruitment materials, and providing training to the TA team on the nurse recruitment strategy
The Nurse Recruiter will be required to engage in frequent interactions with Talent Acquisition Partners, Hiring Managers, and other key stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, demonstrating initiative and exceptional time management skills. The selected candidate will play a vital role in the success of the BioLife Talent Acquisition Team by delivering top-notch customer service and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the recruitment process.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform as the primary Recruiter focused on MSS requisitions across numerous plasma centers to include establishing locations encompassing both new, ramping, launch, and existing centers.
Plan, implement and evaluate (as a part of the nurse recruitment team) a comprehensive recruitment and selection program for positions within the MSS role.
Attend meetings as a subject matter expert on nurse recruitment issues.
Initiate, lead, plan, and execute nurse recruitment events.
Research and compile data for reports, including geographical and center-specific licensure information.
Develop, implementation of the following: recruitment plans, position advertising and marketing, screening, and interview guides, develop messaging for the TA team to deliver to MSS candidates
Identify talent gaps and trends within support areas and proactively build sourcing channels to fill those needs.
Work with cross functional teams on several projects as needed to enhance efficiency and strategize how to increase candidate flow when needed.
Ability to communicate effectively, present and deliver training to district managers and key stakeholders.
Monitor nursing staffing needs weekly and ensure the right split between licensed professionals.
Gather information on the recruitment market and utilize data for planning efforts.
Develop and implement comprehensive nursing recruitment plans in collaboration with operations and TA leaders.
Uphold knowledge of past, current, and future trends in nurse recruitment.
Design and manage recruitment initiatives to meet current and future staffing needs.
Communicate effectively and deliver training to district managers and key stakeholders.
Consult with TA Lead, Hiring Managers and HR Partners on talent marketplace trends and talent implications.
Implement sourcing and screening strategies to attract quality candidates efficiently.
Build positive relationships with cross-functional team members.
Champion Inclusion and Diversity in sourcing practices.
Provide training and consultation on nurse recruitment needs to center teams.
Ensure data integrity in TA Technology systems
Drive a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. High School Diploma required.
3- 5 years nurse recruiting experience preferred
Recruitment in a high-volume centralized organization

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$96,600.00 – $151,800.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
