| # Summary Description |

| The Painter is responsible for the production of painted parts within |
| quality and efficiency guidelines established by the company. This |
| position will also operate CNC equipment as needed. |

| # Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
| |
| Production: |
| |
| Perform painting operations per engineering drawing specifications. |
| |
| Prep parts for painting (sanding, removing foreign material from |
| part, blasting, etc.). |
| |
| R and D projects as assigned. |
| |
| Monitor chemicals in wash system. |
| |
| Operate forklift safely. |
| |
| Operate assigned CNC equipment that has been set up by Machinist. |
| |
| Perform Oracle transactions accurately and timely. |
| |
| Miscellaneous duties as assigned. |
| |
| Quality: |
| |
| Paint parts within quality guidelines established by the company. |
| |
| Work to improve paint shop cycle times. |
| |
| Safety: |
| |
| Maintain safe working environment. |
| |
| Report any possible safety hazards to supervisor. |
| |
| Use designated personal protection devices as required. |
| |
| Report any work related injury or illness promptly to supervisor. |
| |
| Complete safety training as required. |
| |
| Preventive Maintenance: |
| |
| Comply with preventive maintenance requirements established by |
| maintenance personnel. |
| |
| Communicate to Supervisor and Maintenance Department any suspected |
| problems with machinery in order to reduce or prevent machine |
| downtime. |
| |
| Maintain a clean and organized work area. |
| |
| Clean and return to the proper location all tools and equipment used |
| during the work day. |
| |
| Prompt regular attendance is required. |

| # Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: |
| |
| # Education and/or Experience: |
| |
| High School Diploma or Equivalent. |
| |
| Must be able to read and write legibly. |
| |
| Must possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, |
| multiplication, division). |
| |
| Must be able to read and interpret basic engineering drawings. |
| |
| 1 – 2 years experience painting, preferably in a manufacturing |
| environment. |
| |
| Familiar with powder coating and liquid painting processes. |
| |
| Familiar with chemicals used in treatment of metals prior to |
| painting. |
| |
| Must have the ability to mix paint for special colors. |
| |
| Must be able to independently perform painting operations once |
| adequately trained. |

| Read, write, and verbally communicate in English. |

| |
| Proficiency in using the personal computer, including Windows-based |
| applications. |

| Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar inventory control system. |
