ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Instructional Solutions Advisor is responsible for supporting contracted districts and their students, as well as external/non-TDA students who are participating in any of TRECAs student programming. The Instructional Solutions Advisor deals with inquiries via phone and other electronic communications. The primary responsibility of this position is to mentor assigned groups of students, by providing day-to-day support and directing necessary inquiries to the appropriate support services at TRECA when needed. As well as assisting with development of related websites, databases, and creating and updating support documentation, resolving conflicts, and increasing customer satisfaction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
? Monitor course completions in learning environments.
? Prepare systems and accounts for new contracted districts.
? Support and assist with the coordination of all instructional programs when needed.
? Create process step sheets for contracted districts and maintain support website.
? Act as a mentor for students and parents through effective and timely communication, which leads students to success.
? Communicate with and provide ongoing support to contracted district staff.
? Develop quality professional relationships with district staff and students to foster strong customer service and mentoring.
? Collect data and run reports using student information systems and learning management systems for contracted districts.
? Maintain high-level knowledge of systems and software used by TRECA to assist with processes and procedures.
? Improve and document processes to increase customer satisfaction.
? Write and save anecdotal notes and other forms of documentation on contacts in the appropriate software systems.
? Interface daily with all required organizational communication systems.
? Provide training to new and existing contracted district staff.
? Plan, coordinate, and execute communications to all stakeholders, insuring efficient and effective distribution of information.
? Assist with state testing as needed.
? Assist with summer school as needed.
? Perform any and all other duties and projects, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelors Degree in Education, Business, Social Work, or related area preferred or commensurate experience
? Must reside in Ohio
? Highly proficient with computers and office-related software (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, databases, etc.)
? Strong customer service skills
? Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
? Ability to take initiative and follow through with reliable and accurate outcomes
? Effective and efficient at meeting deadlines for accurate information
? Ability to manage stress in the work environment
? Desire to participate and interact as a team member and assistant to management
? Is discreet and recognizes importance of maintaining confidentiality when handling or conveying information obtained in work setting
