Industrial Maintenance Technician – Certifications Required

Job Description

Maintenance Technician could be placed in the Labeling, Processing, Facilities, or Cooker department depending on where your skills fit best.

Candidates will be responsible for performing maintenance on batching equipment, mixers, tanks, cook kettles, pumps, valves, conveyors, belts, motors, and packaging equipment.

This is a very mechanical job some electrical maintenance involved.

Electrical tasks would include working with sensors, switches, and changing out motors.

When not performing reactive maintenance, you will document work orders.

Environment

Each department is different, so candidates can expect the climate to be controlled, hot, or cold.

The whole facility is kept fairly clean and this is an FDA-regulated environment.

Candidates will be required to have steel-toed boots, hair net, beard net, and ear plugs.

You must also wear a white or blue coat and adhere to the handwashing policy.

Annual SQF training and OSHA safety training are mandatory.
