Deburr Operator

The Deburr Operator is responsible for finishing parts according to the production schedule to meet customer requirements.

Primary responsibilities will include:

– Remove burrs and sharp edges on the outside and inside of metal and plastic parts using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electric tools.
– Maintain quality surface finishes with finished features during benchwork.
– Inspect parts for visual defects.
– Perform daily routine maintenance of the workbench.
– Adhere to company quality policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 documented plan.
– Other general duties as directed by management.

Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:

– High school diploma or equivalent required.
– 2 years of parts finishing experience, specifically plastics and stainless steels preferred.
– Must be detail-oriented.
– Ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time.
– Proficiency in the use of measuring tools (such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.) is a plus.
– Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, understand GD&T.
– Basic math skills.
– Strong analytical skills.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and positive attitude.
