Job Summary:
Service is the foundation of everything we stand for at Vail Resorts and our Group Sales Team Leaders are no exception. This position will be responsible for delivering an Experience of a Lifetime to Wilmot Mountain Guests. With a large focus on after school groups, tubing and snow sports outings, this position will be responsible for retaining existing legacy groups while also recruiting new mid-week group business. This candidate should be committed to their role as an optimistic advocate for change, and as a growth leader to their team members.
Job Specifications:
Expected Pay Range: $23.00 – $24.00 / hour
Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
Other Specifics: Season Length is October to March
Working 8-10 hours/day
Working 35-40 hours per week
Consistently working Weekends and Holidays
Skill Level: Advanced, Team Lead
Job Responsibilities:
Acts as the primary point of contact for all group-related coordination, communication and execution.
Lead Outbound and Inbound Group Sales efforts for the resort including Email, Phone and occasional in-person outreach.
Lead a small team responsible for order creation, facilitation, refunds, and invoice processing.
Maintain up to date knowledge on resort products, policies, and operations, coordinating with other departments as necessary
Lead daily operations of product sales such as opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and sale supervision as necessary
Assist with hiring, support, and training of product sales team members in daily operations
Monitor and document teammate performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, providing recognition, correction action or escalations if necessary
Receive and assess guest questions, comments and complaints providing timely resolutions
Monitor and maintain sales facilities, equipment, and inventory
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
2 years’ experience in customer service or ticket sales required
Experience in a similar Group Coordinator role (Preferred)
Flexibility to work both inside and outside with exposure to the elements
Must be able to communicate fluently in English
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 25lbs
The expected pay range is $23.00 – $24.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
