Job Description
We manufacture stainless steel tanks for the dairy industry, focusing on food-grade or sanitary welds. This position requires expertise in welding, grinding, and fabrication, specifically in MIG and TIG welding. Candidates must have TIG experience.
Primary duties include TIG welding on stainless steel in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead), and MIG welding as needed. Responsibilities also involve clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, custom fabricating, and grinding materials to meet technical specifications and create a high-quality welded product. You will control fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent overheating, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage. Reading and understanding basic prints/drawings is essential. Problem-solving skills in fabrication tasks are also required.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Beloit, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
1st shift: 6-2:30 pm while training. 5 am-3:30 pm after training.
2nd shift: 3 pm – 1:30 am: M-TH
Optional work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Fridays typically offer 4-5 hours of voluntary overtime.
A new 40-acre facility coming in this year.
Attendance/PTO structure includes 5 paid vacation days and 3 paid personal days (prorated from the start date) for new hires, increasing to 2 weeks vacation and 3 paid personal days after 1 year. 11 paid holidays, including a paid day off for your birthday.
One free unexcused call-in per year, plus one doctors note to excuse an unexcused absence. Additional absences follow a structured disciplinary process.I
