Technology/Cloud Usage Expert
Expert in Cloud Usage
Cloud cost cloud reporting mechanisms provided by vendors
Nuances between CSP reporting mechanisms
Commercial implementations and use cases of cloud usage
Cloud usage reporting strategies (Tagging, as well as other use cases such as RI reporting)
Usage reporting impacts for chargeback/show back of cloud usage
Expert in Cloud Commitment
UHGs specific contractual terms and progress against those terms
Operational Impacts to cloud commitment (RI purchases, credits, pricing changes, technology changes) Multi-year Cloud usage modeling
Expert in Technology usage
Cross service data definition implications (type/sub-type/region) across systems
Establish consistently process across technology services that mirror cloud standards
How platform interdependencies impact the visibility of costs across supply change
Technology/Cloud Forecasting Expert
Expert in cloud forecasting
How to estimate and forecast cloud applications
How to estimate and forecast new cloud applications
How technology changes impact cloud forecasts
How business, priority, and vendor strategies impact cloud forecasts
Expert in technology forecasts
How technology costs carry forward through supply chain
How technology usage impacts usage forecast durability and risk

Maximizing UHGs Cloud Position (Commit)
Operate UHGs cloud commitments
Define a vendor commitment strategy that leverage UHGs context (account strategies, required services, platform capabilities)

Mitigate forecast gaps
Define strategies/playbooks for managing forecast gaps
Establish and maintain a forecast mitigation gap strategy

Achieve Fortune 5 scale through maximized re-use and value
Define strategies that simplify the problem landscape to reduce the unique requirements

Lead with context instead of direction

Partners
Partner with CIO organizations and major consumers to successfully achieve cloud cost savings.
Partner with the Cloud Operations, Public Cloud Governance, and other cloud teams to achieve successful cost savings outcomes
Partner with AWS, Azure, and GCP to secure a successful cost savings outcomes
Communication
Clear actionable, and valuable use of time communications across docs, user groups, videos, products
Direct and partner executive material is accurate, update, and available on demand with core stakeholder approvals
Create content that advances the art and exceeds the depth, breath, and quality available from commercial offerings

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington, D.C. Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $122,100 to $234,700 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
