[About this position:
[The Manager, Power Generation is responsible for overseeing all aspects of NorthWestern Energys Thermal and Wind Generation operation. This includes operations and maintenance, compliance, project management and execution, and engineering. This position is responsible for the leadership of the Thermal/Wind organization and will communicate, support and ensure adherence to the business plan. The Manager is responsible to manage availability and generation of the generation fleet guided by the power market, maintenance needs, and status of units. Provides leadership to Superintendents, Supervisors, and overall organization in the area of strategic planning and asset management for the performance and results of safety, compliance, generation, and budget adherence within area of responsibility. This position is responsible for the safe and compliant operation of the Thermal and Wind Generation fleet. This position is responsible to build and maintain a healthy culture within the organization.
