Job Title: BIM Modeler

Job Description:

Prepare ALL work in accordance with approved office processes, formats and standards

Work on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, performing, as appropriate, engineering analyses and calculations

Work on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, preparing required documents in CAD or BIM

Work on prospects for sales developing presentations using Revit, Tekla or other 3D modeling platforms

Perform tasks accurately and on time with necessary guidance, and proactively seek advice on tasks as needed

Manage projects efficiently, communicating and coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, etc..

Patriate and lead project meetings

Manage other staff members, as required, when assigned as a Task Leader

Meet task deadlines and adhere to budgeted hours

Participate in external/in-house seminars and training activities/sessions

Participate in the development of in-house processes, checklists and standards

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Junior College Associates Degree, Technical College Degree, or Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering

Must be accredited in the US

5 years of professional, post-graduate work experience

Ability to model projects in CAD and BIM independently

Must have precast experience

Must be familiar with Tekla

Ability to manage projects independently and communicate/coordinate with clients

Must be local to Aurora, IL or within commuting distance- this role will start fully in office

Work Site:

The role will start 100% in office, however will be allowed 2 remote days once approved by their manager. Consultant can pick which days they would like to be remote.
