Summary About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Training and Leader Development, U.S. Army Engineer School, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood. Responsibilities Coordinate with other branches, divisions, and directorates within the Engineer School to ensure product consistency and continuity, Prepare after action reports, correspondence, briefing charts and graphs. Perform personnel and administrative actions as supervisor of assigned personnel. Evaluate the products associated with the annual workload programs. Make recommendations regarding personnel actions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of training development, which includes: development of individual engineer institutional training products, conducting research and analysis; In depth knowledge on engineer doctrine, engineer institutional training development requirements, incorporating methods and techniques of training development in production of Engineer individual training products; participating in critical individual task analysis; preparing course of action briefings; maintaining audit trail documents; and utilizing computer and variety of software and hardware in performance of collecting, organizing, and analyzing data. In-depth knowledge of the Army Engineer School mission and ability to analyze training objectives to review, plan and develop long-range Individual Training Strategies and individual training materials with subject matter expertise. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education / Training Program Administration Manages and Organizes Information Managing Human Resources Training and Education Analysis Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
