Job Description

Actalent has partnered with a large environmental consulting firm that is seeking to train an Environmental Field Technician. The role involves working on large agricultural projects and maintaining gas collection systems at landfills within the Midwest. Will be tasked with construction QA and topographic surveying during wellfield, gas plant, and flare expansion projects. While onsite one will also collect/record data and monitor gas flow, pressure, and composition to regulatory standards. No experience is necessary, but candidates must be willing to travel extensively and be mechanically inclined. This position offers per diem with meals covered at $55/day and company-covered hotel accommodations.

Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma required

Previous environmental experience preferred but not required

Comfortable working outdoors

Good with lifting and pushing 50lbs

Must be comfortable traveling 80% of the year

Mechanically inclined required

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Overland Park, Kansas.
