Type of Position: Part-time Temporary, Non-Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: varies, 12 hours per week

Pay Range: $15.95 – $20.31 and determined based on relevant years
of work experience.

Benefits Category: Partial benefits

Position Summary: Assist in the production and operation of the
Academic Theatre Department production and event season.

Required Qualifications:

– Requires a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of related
experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

To be considered for this position we will require an application and

Unofficial transcripts are required for all Adjunct faculty and
Faculty positions.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

– Complete daily tasks as assigned by the supervisor and related to
the production of a theatrical production or event.
– Under the direction of the supervisor perform basic carpentry,
electrical, sewing, sculpting, decorative painting, metal work, and
rigging.
– Maintain records and equipment/supply inventories as assigned.
– Operate a variety of hand and power tools and technical equipment
used in the theater set design or production.
– Assist with set design and stage scenery development by working from
blueprints, diagrams, plans, or drawings.
– Assist with setup for theatre open houses and special events.
– Maintain a clean work area/set.
– Ensure safety regulations and guidelines are followed.

Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be
added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management,
formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling, shift
assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by
business necessity.
