Job Title: Vac Truck Operator

Job Description

Daily tasks range from vacuuming water from storm drains to cleaning out industrial tanks with vacuum trucks. The vacuum trucks are semis with 2500-gallon tanks and perform the same as a shop vac. Responsibilities include operating the vacuum trucks, performing daily inspections of all fluids, belts, and hoses, driving the truck to job locations, setting up hoses, and monitoring the vacuum process. Additional duties include breaking down hose setups, dumping the truck, sweeping/cleaning up spills, and miscellaneous tasks assigned by the supervisor. Candidates must not be afraid of heights as they will be working up to 100 feet on fully guarded platforms. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Not climate controlled, hot in the summer and cold in winter. Will also be working outdoors 20% of the time.
