POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs administrative duties for managerial, administrative or professional staff position levels, including the Plant Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creates reports, correspondence, memos, etc. using multiple software packages

Schedules meetings, conference calls, travel plans, conferences, events, etc. involving internal and external resources

Answers telephones, maintains calendars, scans and sorts mail

Organizes and maintains files and record system for the office

Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner

Project and analytical work is typically complex with significant impact to the business

Works independently with minimal guidance/supervision

Demonstrates initiative on expanding responsibilities and learning/using new technology

May train others

Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

Purchasing (Indirect Items) and Service POs (requisitions, POs, receiving –iPro/Oracle use)

Track and Maintain inventory/levels for all indirect items for the plant

Work Orders

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Requires AAS or equivalent (additional two years’ experience) plus a minimum of eight years’ office/administrative experience

Demonstrated advanced/expert experience in Microsoft Office

Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new technology

Excellent customer service skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Regularly required to sit, use hands

Occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, with a potential of up to 25 pounds;

Sedentary office environment

Occasional exposure to manufacturing plant floor requiring the use of personal protective equipment (ear plugs, safety glasses, bump cap, skid-resistant leather shoes, etc.)

Must follow Good Manufacturing Practice (hair net, no jewelry, no fake nails or eyelashes, no food/drink, gum, etc. in manufacturing Plant)
