Racker has a great opportunity for a Home Based Crisis Intervention Supervisor, in a brand new program! This role focuses on supporting children and youth (ages 5-21) with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) experiencing mental health crises and plays a pivotal role in shaping our crisis intervention program, which is set to launch in January 2025. This is a unique opportunity to help create and staff a program that will make a meaningful impact on the lives of young individuals and their families.

Competitive salary range of $55,000-$81,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee the design and implementation of a short-term comprehensive crisis treatment response for each assigned participant and their family.

Provide clinical supervision and ongoing support to up to three licensed clinicians.

Manage caseloads and oversee on call rotation.

Participate in an on-call rotation and contact referred families within 24 hours of referral.

Oversee program operations and compliance with regulatory standards.

Complete all documentation per Office of Mental Health and program guidelines.

Facilitate and maintain relationships with referral sources, to include local hospitals and medical practitioners, therapists, Children’s Health Home Care Managers, Racker programs, and other local service providers.

Lead weekly team meetings.

Collaboratively review clients’ service goals with clinical team

Monitor and evaluate program activities to ensure quality and effectiveness of interventions.

Case coverage for short periods based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

Education/Certification: Master’s Degree in Social Work, LCSW preferred, if currently licensed as LMSW will be actively working toward attainment of LCSW or Master’s Degree in relevant mental health field with appropriate certification in the field of specialty . Clinical counseling experience preferred. Vali d driver’s license and ability to maintain insurance throughout employment.

Skills/Abilities: Ability to provide effective mental health support to youth and their families and function as a member of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge: Understanding of the needs of children with social, emotional and behavioral problems and the needs of their families, and experience with individuals with I/DD

Physical Requirements: ability to operate standard office equipment.
