SAP OTC Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Sales and Distribution/Order to Cash Analyst to join our team. The SAP SD Analyst plays a critical role in our organization, serving as the primary point of contact for the SAP Sales and Distribution module. As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders and end users to understand their requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical specifications. Your expertise in SAP configuration and functional design concepts will be instrumental in delivering effective solutions that align with business objectives.
In this role, you will actively participate in SAP integration projects, system enhancements, and provide daily support to ensure the smooth operation of our SAP functions. Your strong knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S4 will enable you to contribute valuable insights and recommendations for process improvements and optimizations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough research and recommend functional solutions to address complex problems, ensuring they drive desired business results.
Identify, evaluate, and propose options for enhancing sales and distribution processes within SAP and across the enterprise.
Ensure the successful implementation and ongoing effectiveness of processes, taking a lead role in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing sales and distribution processes in the SAP system and integration points.
Configure, deploy, and maintain SD/OTC functions, leveraging integration knowledge within MM and PP modules.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to SAP configuration efforts, overseeing the preparation of policies, procedures, process documentation, and functional specifications.
Clearly articulate the integration and functionality of the SAP application, offering expert advice to determine the best practice approach for deploying components.
Lead cross-functional efforts to address and resolve business or system issues, acting as a liaison between the business and the development team to ensure a clear understanding of functional requirements and seamless integration with development requirements.
Ensure the accuracy of instructional materials and provide subject matter expertise and support for end-user training delivery.
Foster the development of SAP SD knowledge and competency in super users and subject matter experts throughout the business through mentoring and training activities.
Assist internal users, vendors, or other customers by promptly addressing inquiries related to SD processes, procedures, and services.
Complete assigned work in a timely and accurate manner while consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
Perform any other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of the SAP SD module and related processes.
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP configuration and implementation within SAP SD/OTC functions.
Strong expertise in SAP SD/OTC, including configuration, master data, and key transactions within OTC (Order processing, shipping, invoicing).
Preferred experience with integration of SD/OTC functions with MM and PP modules, including Inventory Management, MRP, Demand Planning, ATP, and Purchasing.
Thorough knowledge of the integration points between SAP modules and understanding of key design implications.
Proven understanding of SAP best practices and their application in designing and delivering solutions.
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.
Exceptional organizational skills and proactive initiative to improve processes.
Ability to analyze complex problems, review information, develop and evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas across all levels of the organization.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
Minimum of seven years of experience in full life-cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
Minimum of seven years of SAP Hands-on experience in Master data and key transactions within OTC (Order processing, shipping, invoicing)
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience in a shared services environment, preferred.
