Manual Machinist
Join our dynamic, growing team as a Manual Machinist where you will machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as Manual lathes, Manual milling machines, shapers, or grinders. Additionally, could be working on the CNC Laser (training available).
Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences.
Identify the difference between various metals (Carbon, Stainless, Aluminum, etc.) and gauge thicknesses.
The pay is starting at $20-$25/hr with excellent benefits, weekly pay, and working environment including being temperature controlled, gym, and cafeteria.
Skills
2-3 years of experience setting up and operating Manual Mills, Lathes, and Grinders
Experience with machining metals is a must
Experience with a Laser machine is a plus.
Able to read, interpret and work from technical drawings
