The Opportunity:

CACI is recruiting for an Executive Director and General Manager (ED/GM) who will provide Executive leadership of the WISR Team reporting directly to the Vice President of Spectrum Superiority Division (within the Technology Innovation & Labs (TIL) Operating Group of our National Security and Innovation Solutions (NSIS) Sector). The WISR Team enables missions for SIGINT, EW, cyber, comms, and spectrum management customers, delivered through customized families of RF technologies and secure communications products.

The ED/GM will have P&L responsibility for the WISR Team (app $130M annually) that is located in multiple locations- primarily Westminster, Co, Florham Park, NJ, Lisle, Il, Jessup, Md and Santa Barbara, Ca. The successful candidate will be responsible for profitably and strategically growing the business base, with a particular focus on technology-oriented growth; establishing and executing policies and business rhythms that drive outstanding program performance, advanced, bespoke solutions through best-in-class R&D, engineering, and prototype organization and establishing strong internal and external relationships focused on success of the enterprise.

The Executive Director & General Manager will be an exceptional leader who has a strong engineering background and experience running both product-based programs and contract R&D programs. The GM will also be an expert in product development and possess a proven background of transitioning product to production.

Responsibilities:

The ED/GM has responsibility for meeting/exceeding all Division financial commitments quarter over quarter and year over year. Responsibilities include leading the development of the annual operating and capital plans and budgets. They closely monitor the actual performance of the Division, taking corrective action as needed. They are responsible for their cost control plan, sales and marketing plan, and revenue and profit plan.

Nurtures, develops, and introduces technical innovations in professional practices and strives to assure consistent excellence in customer support. Assesses future needs, trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Provides leadership in the evolution and implementation of relevant CACI market growth strategies.

Conceptualizes, organizes, and drafts technical/management approaches for inclusion in customer deliverables and competitive proposals.

The ED/GM is accountable for expanding business and coordinates business development activities with the Team to ensure continuing growth and profitability. He/she participates in negotiations with key customers and suppliers. He/she promotes and ensures ethical business practices and a customer-oriented philosophy.

The ED/GM keeps alert to potential acquisitions that would complement CACI TIL capabilities, are aligned with CACI market growth strategies, and would make CACI more competitive in the marketplace.

The ED/GM is fully accountable for the performance of his/her organization. He/she is responsible for all aspects of people leadership and management within his/her organization, and for ensuring compliance with the company’s affirmative action program. He/she is responsible for establishing practices and procedures to ensure the highest level of professional standards in conducting business activities.

The ED/GM is responsible for making senior management aware early on of issues, and for proactively working to address/mitigate those issues before they become problems.

Establishes strong internal and external relationships focused on accomplishing strategic business objectives, driving profitable organic growth, and achieving increased shareholder value.

More About the Role:

Develops and executes strategic plan to achieve short-and long-term objectives.

Manage Product Line engineering teams to properly staff programs to perform on schedule and on budget.

Leads multi-functional teams to resolve unusually complex and high priority business problems and projects.

Review plans, financial results, and process improvements to determine progress in achieving goals, and revises plans, as needed, to ensure attainment of company objectives and business performance and efficiency.

Develop and implement clear operational metrics combined with action plans for achieving these metrics, and hold the team accountable to their implementation and achievement

Lead development program technology planning and execution. Drive speed, quality, and cost to meet and exceed customer requirements.

Integrate and develop a cross functional and highly technical organization with a strong and unified culture.

Lead engineering groups in planning and establishing major design and development milestones and goals, and in monitoring performance consistent with the customers delivery schedules.

Assess team performance and composition to optimize for near term objectives while positioning for future opportunities and growth.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline required. Master’s Degree in business or technical discipline desired.

12 years of related technical and business leadership experience.

Working knowledge of DoD and/or Federal procurement practices

Strong track record of successfully leading large complex programs and portfolios spanning multiple contract types

Experience leading portfolios valued at $80M is required.

Strong track record of growth and capture and proposal management.

Experience and working knowledge of SIGINT, EW, cyber, comms, and spectrum management customers, RF technologies and secure communications products

Proven exceptional customer relationship building and management skills

Inspirational leadership style. Demonstrated ability to build success-oriented relationships across CACI, industry, and customer communities.

Be strong at problem-solving and conceptual thinking. Possess the capability to lead strategic growth in a challenging forward-thinking environment.

Display excellent written communications and presentation capabilities.

Experience with and working knowledge of the Intelligence Systems & Support marketspace.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$152,900-$336,400
