Labor Foreman

Laborer Foreman will ensure the crew is completing a project with quality, safety, and on schedule. Laborer foreman responsibilities include supervising the crew(s), planning pertaining to the project, and being the contact between team members and supervisors.

Provide weekly or as needed reports
Process change orders
Schedule deliveries
Effectively manage project budget
Demonstrate quality customer service
Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely
Monitor use of equipment and machinery
Maintain positive attitude
Proactively plan project materials and equipment
Attend required meetings
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
5 years Crew Foreman or related experience

Required Skills :
Advanced knowledge of reading and interpretation of blueprints
Advanced knowledge of math and carpentry
Advanced knowledge of power tools
Advanced knowledge of safety equipment
Role model in OSHA practices and standards
Demonstrated willingness to learn and continuously improve
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate others
Flexible and adaptable
Strong attention to detail and organization
SUPERVISION
The position has immediate oversight of employees while most of the time performing the same or directly related work as those the position leads
The position supervises or manages the work of at least two full-time employees or the equivalent. The position includes decisions or recommendations regarding personnel action such as hiring, disciplinary action, overtime, changes in pay and terminations

Employment Information
Construction work requires strenuous physical activity. The essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing several flights of stairs or ladders uninterrupted, working at extensive heights, lifting 50 pounds, repetitive lifting, working a minimum of 40 hours per week, working outdoors as required, seeing with clarity (naturally or with correction), having accurate depth perception and acceptable peripheral vision, and hearing sufficiently (naturally or with correction) to respond to verbal instruction, warning bells, and alarms.
