Cyber Software Engr Sr Stf – Clearance Required
THE WORK
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and maintains full spectrum cyber solutions. Develops and automates secure systems to support cyber offensive, defense and full spectrum cyber operations. Conducts vulnerability research, reverse engineering, penetration testing (red/blue teams), develops and integrates low-level firmware, and/or develops specialized cyber software solutions and tools based on mission requirements. Applies system knowledge of subject matter (hardware, software, networks, cloud, etc.) to conduct research to evaluate potential vulnerabilities and develop new capabilities to exploit and/or mitigate vulnerabilities. USE OF THIS CLASSIFICATION REQUIRES AUTHORIZATION FROM THE BUSINESS AREA CYBER DIRECTOR OR DELEGATE

Basic Qualifications:
• Current DoD Top Secret SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline. Must have experience with the following:
• Python 2/3
•Bash Scripting
•Ansible playbook development (YAML)
•Java
• Git
•CI/CD pipeline
•Docker/Portainer/Kubernetes (development/administration)
•Vmware ESX virtual machine creation
•PKI infrastructure (creation and management)
•Secure development practices
•Technical/Software Documentation
•Previous Test experience (methodologies, terminology, test plan development) and integration experience (SW lifecycle)
•Software deployment to Linux and windows operating systems
•SIGINT experience
•Ability to travel required
•Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate in a team environment
Desired Skills:
• Integrating and troubleshooting both test and operational systems with issues often down to the OS level (Windows/LINUX/UNIX/RHEL)
• Perform data analysis on message traffic while working closely with internal and external government customers
• Author detailed test plans/procedure and troubleshooting procedures
• Updating and integrating new hardware and software components into existing site architectures (i.e. servers, modems, switches, GOTS/COTS software)
• Document test results, prepare / brief test status and results to internal and external customers
• Familiarity with wide variety of signals, protocols, and International Telecommunications Union (ITU) recommendations
• Preparing for and presenting briefs to stakeholders, working groups, and potential customers
• Creating the integration and verification roadmaps, from requirements decomposition to integration of system and verification of capability.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $134,300 – $257,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
