Manager, Risk Advisor – Business Risk Office
The Risk Management (RM) Business Risk Office is seeking a highly motivated Risk Manager to apply their analytical, risk, communication, and project management skills to support the Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Corporate Integrity (OCI) teams. In this role, you will partner with executives and their teams to identify and monitor risks in an open, collaborative environment where new ideas and solutions are welcomed and rewarded. You will lead AML through audit and regulatory engagements; facilitate periodic and change-driven risk assessments; and support issues and findings remediation. You may also be responsible for managing several horizontal Risk Office processes in alignment with the enterprise framework and related requirements
Responsibilities include:
Supporting, partnering and interacting with AML and OCI stakeholders and other risk management professionals across the enterprise
Collaborating effectively with key partner risk organizations (e.g. Compliance, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management and Audit)
Supporting audits and regulatory exams owned by AML, OCI as well as those outside of AML that have impact
Monitoring issue management, tracking, and closure
Providing leadership, oversight and guidance during risk assessments (New Processes, Risk and Control Self-Assessments, etc.)
Assisting AML and OCI with the annual Critical Business Process (CBP) identification process and facilitating subsequent Process Level Assessments (PLAs)
Analyzing information to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements while reporting on risk topics to management;
Staying current on the changing regulatory environment and understanding AML and OCI impacts
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience in risk management, compliance or audit
At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients
At least 2 years of project or process management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance or audit
Strong communication, both written and verbal
Strong customer focus and ability to collaborate across teams to deliver
Proficient with Google and MS Office Suites
