| IVandV Director is responsible | |
| for leading and managing the | |
| Independent Verification and | |
| Validation activities for | |
| software development and | |
| implementation projects. This | |
| role ensures that all software | |
| products meet the required | |
| standards, perform as intended, | |
| and fulfill customer | |
| requirements. | |

| Job Responsibilities: | |

| – Leadership and Management: | |
| Oversee and lead the | |
| Independent Verification and | |
| Validation activities for | |
| software development and | |
| implementation projects. | |
| Manage the IVandV processes, | |
| including resource | |
| allocation, task assignment, | |
| and performance evaluation. | |
| Collaborate closely with | |
| project teams, stakeholders, | |
| and Spectrum Vendor | |
| – Verification and Validation | |
| Processes: Develop and | |
| implement robust IVandV | |
| methodologies and processes | |
| tailored to the needs of | |
| SATTL and OUSD RandE. Lead | |
| efforts to develop and manage | |
| MandS verification and | |
| validation methodologies | |
| which support acti ities | |
| related to DoD operational | |
| testing of systems and | |
| systems of systems. Ensure | |
| that all software products | |
| meet required standards, | |
| perform as intended, and | |
| fulfill customer | |
| requirements. Conduct | |
| rigorous verification | |
| activities to check if | |
| systems are built correctly | |
| according to specifications. | |
| Perform validation activities | |
| to evaluate if the software | |
| meets the mission and | |
| customers needs. | |
| – Risk Management and Quality | |
| Assurance: Identify potential | |
| risks in software development | |
| projects and propose | |
| mitigation strategies. | |
| Provide objective assessments | |
| of software qualitythroughout | |
| the development lifecycle. | |
| Ensure compliance with | |
| industry standards and best | |
| practices in software | |
| engineering. | |
