Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W6UWAA OPERATION ENVIRONMENT CENTER. Responsibilities Serves as the Administrative Officer for all administrative matters pertaining to the DCS, G-2. Serves as action officer for various special programs and projects, as directed. Directly responsible for day-to-day operations of the SES managed front office. Coordinates staff support for all executive-level meetings, conference and travel plans (CONUS and OCONUS) that involve the DCS G2 and senior staff members. Responsible for leaders in the front office planning calendars, travel orders, and generation and submission of travel vouchers. Manages and provides quality control of Directorate staff actions, and front office automation, security management, records management, and property management. Carries out high priority assignments, studies, and projects personally assigned by the TRADOC G2 Chief of Staff on a wide variety of sensitive and confidential matters. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience with executive level administrative services to include applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of administrative and management issues or problems. AND Experience providing guidance on administrative and procedural requirements to administrative staff to ensure the orderly and efficient flow of work in transactions. AND Experience performing executive level support activities in a combination of any of the following areas: general administration, management analysis, records management, operational automation, protocol, and travel management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-11). Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI) based on a Tier 5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) security clearance.
