Responsibilities You will serve as a structural engineering technician, managing real property maintenance projects using small purchase repair/service contracts to ensure efficient execution of repairs and services. You will receive, review, and analyze assigned work requests, ensuring their applicability and compliance with provisions and directives. You will perform field and site inspections of real property with station contacts to determine the exact scope of requirements and prepare accurate government cost estimates. You will prepare and submit for approval contract procurement task orders in accordance with the specifications of indefinite quantity service and construction/repair contracts. You will provide structural engineering services and review designs at the technician level for all buildings and structures across the Air Station. You will work with colleagues to maintain current cost data and trends, providing accurate labor and material estimates for construction alterations and repairs, along with required specifications for all necessary materials and work. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-08) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
