HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

This role typically reports into the Manager of Quality Assurance and Operations and is based in the Stockbridge DC. The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for executing quality assurance audits by relocating materials, utilizing FlexPLM for style information, conducting inspections and metal audits, classifying defects, tracking inventory with an RF scanner, and assisting with additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Daily Operations

Locate QA audits in Distribution Center and relocate to workstation

Pull style folder with style information using FlexPLM

Accurately conduct quality audits which includes inspecting and measuring incoming product

Conduct metal audits using metal detector and neck stretch audit using neck stretch gauge as required

Understand defect classifications and record defects in QA system

Locate pallets using RF scanner

Any additional work or projects assigned by the QA Supervisor or Coordinator

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

Must Have:

Must be proficient with computer including MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

Strong and accurate mathematical skills are required

Be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail

Must be able to accurately read a measuring tape (test may be given)

Good color perception (color test may be given)

Strong collaboration skills

Preferred skills and experience:

High school diploma

Familiarity with statistical sampling, use of AQL tables, product inspection

Apparel construction (home or industrial sewing)

Apparel retail experience in lieu of sewing acceptable

Minimum 1 year experience in the above categories

Must be comfortable using tablet and PC applications such as MS office web applications, MS teams and project management tools. Probably no experience required but knowledge that the candidate would be using these tools and therefore onboarding training would include this.

Some experience or knowledge in 5S methodology such as standardization, and organization tools preferred.

Physical and Work Demands

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack to move work

Stand for long periods of time – may be required to stand throughout the entire shift
