1st Shift, Monday – Thursday, 5:00am – 3:30pm

As a compounder, you will be responsible for accurately mixing and blending various ingredient to create a variety of products according to precise formulas and quality standards. What youll do on a typical day:
Blend liquid and semi-solid bulk formulations
Carry out batching instructions and process standards without deviations
Identify proper materials and correctly batch using both loss in weight and gain in weight material additions
Correctly maintain appropriate work documents
Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service
Correctly interpret and follow company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance
Safely operate various equipment and tools
Work independently and as part of a team to achieve daily production goals
Catalog and track goods and/or supplies
Adhere to the 5S program by maintaining a clean environment
Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members
What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, youll need:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
The ability to do high school level math
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Itd be great if you also have:
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
1 year of experience as a compounder or similar
Knowledge of basic chemical principles and safety procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Skills in inventory control and cycle counting
Knowledge or experience in an USEPA regulated manufacturing facility
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners
PIT experience
This job requires the ability to:
Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
Pass a respirator physical and fit test
Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
