Director Sales – Building Automation

As a Director Sales within Building Automation here at Honeywell, you will have an exceptionally unique role. This role will drive the continued evolution of an independent $40 – 50M business in a rapid growth environment. This technology based business needs an experienced sales leader to optimize and accelerate our growth across two different channels.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and developing your sales team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Overall, as a Director Sales – Building Automation, you will have a significant impact on driving customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and achieving business goals. You will report directly to our Vice President and General Manager, Fire Americas, and you’ll work out remotely within the continental USA.
You will be able to really drive impact on the business working across functions including offering management, marketing and customer experience functions to ensure alignment around our growing customer bases needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the Building Communications business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and marketing, to identify customer needs and develop targeted sales campaigns
Analyze market trends and customer data to identify growth opportunities and provide insights for improvement
Mentor and develop sales team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in building automation sales
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or related roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a sales team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively convey ideas
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
Experience in the building automation industry or related field
WE VALUE
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Masters degree in Business Administration (preferred)
Experience in the Building Communications sector
Proven track record of driving sales in a competitive market
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and exceeding targets
Passion for sales and staying up-to-date with industry trends
