Northrop Grumman is seeking Mechanical Engineers . This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Cape Canaveral, FL.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Maritime/Land Systems and Sensors division, Marine Systems business unit. Marine Systems is a leading provider of missile launcher systems, propulsion systems, and power generation systems for naval submarines and surface ships.

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2. Basic qualifications for a Mechanical Engineer 1 are a Bachelor’s Degree. Basic qualifications for a Mechanical Engineer 2 are a Master’s Degree.

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s or Masters) from an accredited institution

Be majoring in or having majored in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree

Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

CAD experience (Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks, etc.)

Machinery coursework or experience

Navy experience

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Salary Range:

Level 1 (Bachelors): $56,600 – $85,000/year

Level 2 (Masters): $68,500 – $102,700/year
