Job Title: Certified Payroll Specialist – Odessa, FL
Job Description
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Certified Payroll Specialist ensures that all certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements are processed and reported in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and in compliance with customer contracts. This position supports and backs up the payroll function.
Hard Skills
Compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage laws
Calculation of prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits
Submission and uploading of compliance documentation
Payroll reporting, filing, maintenance, and data entry
Research of federal, state, and contract-specific requirements
Management of Department of Labor and client certified payroll audits
Auditing of subcontractor certified payroll submissions
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site, 8am-5pm position in Odessa, Florida.
