What you will do:
As a Senior Machinist, you will Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Develop and recommends procedures and prepare technical reports and documentation. Perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommends corrective action. Responsibilities are within the Technical Specialty/Skilled Trade Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.
Execute assigned Process development elements with an emphasis on manufacturing systems and technical documentation required to define and specify new manufacturing processes.
Provide Technical support for new process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker new product development procedures.
Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications.
Manage the development, definition and execution of Process related activities such as CNC, CAD/CAM and/or CMM programming and execute the associated qualification and validation activities.
Assist Project and Process Engineers on the development of manufacturing and/or inspection processes as well as on executing DOE, DFM/DFI activities.
Execute Equipment installation and support training for shopfloor team members.
What you need:
5 years of work experience required.
Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and have the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing preferred.
Ability to lay out and set-up machines as well as run manufacturing batch preferred.
Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry preferred.
