JOB SUMMARY
Precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures. Utilizes accepted quality control techniques by manual, semi-automated, or automated methodologies and equipment. Performs phlebotomy procedures and assists in other laboratory activities as requested. The Medical Laboratory Technician is competent in providing direct care to patients within the following age brackets; neonate, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Education/Regulatory Requirements:
Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Medicine.
American Society of Clinical Pathologist certification preferred or eligible.
Skills:
Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
Operates equipment correctly and safely.
