JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Cardiology and Respiratory Care Service, Medical Directors and Department Manager, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physicians orders, department policies and procedures.
CARDIOLOGY: Produces recordings of electromotive variations in patient`s heart muscle, using electrocardiograph (EKG), to provide data for diagnosis of heart ailments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:
Education/Regulatory Requirements:
Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
BCLS/CPR required.
Previous experience preferred.
Skills:
Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
Knowledge of basic and advanced Cardiopulmonary procedures.
