Summary This position is located at Samuel Adams Brewhouse. Responsibilities Duties are performed independently in accordance with accepted trade practices and guides. Waiters are assigned stations by the supervisor and given any special instructions necessary. Takes orders placed by guest for alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages and food items from menus. Required to be fully familiar with all food items available and all beverage items available for guest consumption. Orders drinks from bartender and delivers to guest. Maintains sales record, collects cash or payment by credit card from guest. Clean, reset and arrange tables as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the servicing of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. Possess basic math skills necessary to compute patron bills and make change. Be able to communicate effectively in English. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
