Your Impact

Perform design tasks and create drawings using computer-aided design (CADD) related to the development of transportation projects in Microstation OpenRoads Designer.

Produce high quality technical and professional deliverables.

Make required changes, additions, and/or revisions to existing CADD drawings.

Analyze incoming data and determine solutions with minimal guidance.

Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine appropriate solution.

Possess a sound understanding of project expectations, role, available tools and resources, networks, workflow, scope, and budget.

Coordinate on projects with other disciplines.

Provide ongoing project / task updates regarding progress to keep others informed of current status and outstanding issues before they become problems.

Adhere to WSP USA quality Assurance Policies/Procedures, CADD protocol, as well as client standards and requirements.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Technical School Certificate in Drafting/Design or Engineering.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant post education experience in discipline with prior drafting and design support experience.

Experience in technical civil engineering and associated disciplines.

Demonstrated excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSPs Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

Proven track record upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSPs health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in OpenRoads Designer

Experience working with KYTC or other agencies
