responsibilities:
Identify and troubleshoot batch QC result abnormalities and take action as able
Test all production samples as required – following SOPs as defined, performing test methods accurately, and recording all test results
Support project and continuous improvement work as needed to help maintain project timelines
Understand customer requirements and determine adjustments for batches as needed
Collaborate with other QC teams, production, and technical groups to independently disposition batches
Maintain all laboratory equipment and perform required calibrations as assigned
Utilize immediate production and project needs to prioritize daily activities
Maintain lab ancillary inventory, daily material stocking needs, and contribute to 6S
Understand, support, and maintain Delawares Quality Management System requirements
Support Departmental X matrix action items as assigned
Completion of development plans in entirety
Execution of RCA tasks as assigned
qualifications:
Bachelors degree required
Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering preferred
1 year of academic or professional laboratory experience and proven ability to accurately laboratory methods
Ability to work night shift (2nd or 3rd)
Ability to work weekends as dictated by business need
Ability to work additional overtime as determined by business and project needs
