WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
CPP is looking for an ambitious and self-driven individual to join our HR/Talent Acquisition Team based out of our Euclid, OH location. This internship experience would have a strong focus around full cycle recruiting efforts including but not limited to assisting with proactive recruiting, screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, scheduling in-person interviews, data & analytics tracking, and working within our applicant tracking system. The ideal candidate would be pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field, and would be eager to learn, have strong attention to detail, and possess excellent written & oral communication skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist with every-day recruiting activities.
– Review job requisitions and job descriptions to better understand hiring needs.
– Pre-screen applicants and resumes in our Applicant Tracking System.
– Update & Maintain Applicant Tracking System and Recruiting Spreadsheets as needed.
– Connect with candidates via email, text, and/or phone to coordinate & perform phone interviews.
– Schedule pre-screened candidates via Microsoft Office for on-site/in-person interviews with hiring managers.
– Communicate timely, efficiently, and professionally with candidates as well as internal staff members on recruiting needs, updates, and/or requests.
– Track and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly recruiting metrics.
– Collaborate with members of the HR team on other projects & duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

– Education: Pursuing a bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
– Experience: Prior internship/co-op experience desired, but not required.
– Schedule: Ability to work 20-25 hours hours per week.
– Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Detail oriented with strong analytical skills. Ability to multitask. Excellent time management. Proficient Microsoft Office skills (word, office, excel, etc.). Strong organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

– Cubicle/Office Setting within a Manufacturing Environment. May require occasional trips to the shop floor.
– Physical Demands: Sitting/standing for extended periods of time. Extended periods of time using a computer screen. Extended periods of time using a keyboard.
– Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in.
– Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant.
– Steel toe shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant.
