Your hard work will culminate in an end of internship presentation to Management and C-Suite Executives? Dont worry, we got your back. Well prepare you with everything you need during your 10 weeks with us to ensure it goes over smoothly.
Internship Learning Objectives:
· Ability to network and build relationships with individuals within the IT organization
· Apply learned knowledge of Park Place Services to overcome objections
· Utilize sales cycles to engage and conduct prospecting through cold-calling and other social selling aspects such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Email
· Develop skills to utilize professional CRM database
· Learn the proper foundations and techniques to build a career in sales
Internship Responsibilities:
· Participate in weekly training topics such as sales methodology, mock call sessions, skills training & various other topics
· Engage and build rapport through prospecting techniques to potential new customers
· Utilize CRM and additional software to generate leads for Account Managers
· Conduct research and continuously prospect for lead generation
· Coordinate and participate in client-facing conference calls
· Provide excellent customer service to maintain positive business and customer relationships
· Assist Account Managers and other sales staff; effectively communicate with team-members
· Join in team building events such as shoot for loot & various other contests
· Participate in weekly internship activities and assignments
· 40-60 Cold Calls per day
· 5 Meaningful Conversations per day
· 1 Scheduled and/or completed Conference Calls per day
· Other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Studying toward a degree in Sales, Business Administration, or other related field
· Excellent administrative and organizational skills
· Skin thick enough to make cold-calls (and keep going after rejection)
· Strong Work Ethic – stronger than all your friends)
