We are adding a Quality Assurance Technician to our production support team. If you have quality assurance experience, apply today or give us a call to discuss. We are looking for a tech to supplement our team.
Starting wage contingent upon experience, higher wage than range possible with significant QA and industry specific blow molding and/or plastic technical experience.

Responsibilities:
Accurately perform and document dimensional measurements of parts using applicable equipment, including First Article Inspections on new products or product revisions including documentation and layout measurements of Production Part Approval Process (PPAPs), as needed.
Analyze parts for evaluation of visual/appearance defects including assistance with creation and maintenance of visual inspection standards for new and existing products including retains, customer supplied or company supplied samples and related storage areas.
Properly document analysis and findings on shop floor control charts, as needed. All documentation must be clear, and complete.
Daily monitoring and maintenance of MRB process including QA Hold area and related documentation for CHARTS and internal communication of issues.
Scheduling, coordination, processing, follow-up, and reporting on CARs, as needed.
Daily monitoring of the Job Book System.
Daily monitoring, maintenance, and control of quality management system documentation.
Plan, assemble materials, schedule, and assist with Quality specific training as designated by the Quality Manager
Accurate sampling, recording and calculation of numeric data.
Act as QA Backup for in-process quality auditing, as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Skill Requirements:
Must be able to perform all Quality Assurance Auditor duties.
Effective communication – oral and written and must be fluent in English.
Must be able to send and receive e-mail.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
Must understand and follow work rules.
Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to make proper decisions, given information that is available.
Ability to read basic part drawings, and/or blue prints.
Ability to read and understand Control Plans, Operator Quality Requirements (OQRs), Inspection Test Reports (ITRs), and Quality Alerts.
Ability to understand and follow all company work rules, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Physical Demand:
Sitting, standing or walking for periods of up to four hours at a time.
Reaching, feeling, handling or grasping and detecting part inconsistencies and variances by sight and touch.
Accurately distinguish colors and shades of colors.
Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 40 pounds or less.
Twisting and turning to gain access to containers and packing crates.
Ability to travel to and from QA lab and shop floor work centers
